All About Dark Lips

A major trend for just about every fall and winter season is dark lips. Finding the right shade for you can be tricky so we have included it all in this post. Whether you like lipstick, lip gloss or liquid lipstick, we used them all. Wearing dark lips is so fun and it can be all about your lips and less eye makeup if you want. Or if you're like me and and like doing the most, always, you can wear as much eye makeup as you want and still slay. There are no rules when it comes to dark lipstick, or makeup for that matter. If you like it, that is all that counts. So, on to the makeup!

Here is the full makeup look. I started out with the least dramatic of the shades. This one has a lot of brown in it. It is beautiful on every skin tone and would look stunning on those who have a tanner complexion.

Here is a closer look at the lipstick, it is in the shade Verve from MAC Cosmetics. According to MAC's website, this is the lipstick that made their brand famous. I can see why, I absolutely love this shade. [Lipstick linked]

This next shade is from Bobbi Brown. It is described as a bordeaux red on their website. I felt like it was definitely a deep maroon on myself. But it feels really nice and it is not drying at all.

This shade is called Your Majesty. The only thing I would recommend with this shade is a lip liner. Because it is so creamy, it had a tendency to bleed. [Lipstick linked]

This next lip color is for all of my ladies who are not fans of lipsticks. This one is a gloss from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I absolutely love their glosses. I think they are the best on the market and really stay all day.

This shade is called Vamp. This is extremely pigmented and a little goes a long way so you don't ever waste the product or have to reapply often. [Lip gloss linked]

This last lipstick is a liquid lipstick from Anastasia Beverly Hills. This is the first liquid lipstick from them that I have tried and I love it. It has a slight shimmer to it and it looks flawless.

This liquid lipstick is in the shade Sad Girl. This is another one I suggest using a lip liner with because you don't want it to go outside of your lip line. If it does, which it did on me, just use concealer and a flat brush to sharpen the look up. [Lipstick linked]

I hope you all enjoyed this post and it inspired you to try this dark lipstick trend. If you want even more tips, our special next week is 30 minute makeup lessons for $30.00. As always, stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram, and website for new postings!
