Bridal Makeup

Hello! I am back with a blog post on the makeup look that I did yesterday on my Instagram. I haven't posted in ages but I miss writing blog posts and hope to do a better job of staying on top of it this year. I feel like I have a lot of brides who come in and are unsure of what they want for wedding makeup so I wanted to do a few looks and kind of explain what I used in them so it can spark inspiration for others. For the look that I created yesterday, I did a bridal glam look. This would be my ideal makeup look if I got married tomorrow.

I like warm toned eyeshadow so I used a combination of two different palettes. I used my newest favorite which is "The One" by Lawless Beauty and the "Bronzed Babe" palette from Morphe. For the lid shade I used "Kitten" by Stila, it is their Shimmer & Glow liquid eyeshadow. The lashes I used in this look are the House of Lashes in the style Boudoir Lite.

For me, the skin is essential to looking flawless on a wedding day. On most of my brides I use airbrush but I prefer a traditional foundation for my own skin. I used the Too Faced Hangover Primer, Dior Forever foundation, the Tarte Shape Tape concealer, the new Morphe Fluidity concealer, and the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder. With those products I was able to achieve a beautiful base, and then enhance the skin with bronzer, blush and highlight. I used the Marc Jacobs Omega Bronzer, Milani "Rose D'Oro" blush, and the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Opal."

For lips I love a good neutral pink shade. Not too bright but not too nude. I stuck with a personal favorite combo: Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in "Pillow Talk," Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in "Crush," and Kylie Cosmetics gloss in "Koko K." A few other products I used but didn't take pictures of would just be what I used for brows: ABH Dipbrow Pomade in "Taupe," and Colourpop brow gel.

Last but not least, I wanted to let you all know about this new app for your phone called My Looking Glass. It is a great way to browse through different makeup looks and find new makeup artists. I enrolled in the app, and you can see my looks there : @kaitlinham. And you can even shop what I used using the app! All of the products are linked in every look that I will upload. I hope you enjoyed this post, and hopefully you found some new products you can't wait to try!
